The Boston Dynamics Spot 1:4 Scale Motorized Model by WalkCrawlRun is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the virally seen robot that uses Technic Power Functions to operate and is a good STEM project. The project now joins Imperial Island Fort, Movie Set, Lifeguard’s Shack, A-Frame Cabin, Spaceballs, and The Costume Store as the ones to reach the Second 2021 Review Stage. Sony has just dropped the Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer and we can see what the sequel has to offer. Woody Harrelson stars as the new Symbiote Carnage and we’ll see if it follows the origin story from the comics or if Sony puts their own spin on it. There are currently three LEGO sets that feature Carnage including the new Carnage (76199) bust. The other sets are the Venom Crawler (76163) and Spider-Man and Ghost Rider vs. Carnage (76173) which have nothing to do with the movie but I assume will be more popular once the movie hit theaters on September 24. As of this post, the set has been discounted 15% to $110.55 but you can save an additional $6.56 when you apply the coupon which essentially makes the set 20% off and that also makes it the lowest price the set has been at. The last time it was at this price for an extended period of time was during Black Friday last year. LEGO is getting hyped up for Stranger Things 4 as they have recreated a scene from the trailer that dropped yesterday. The trailer itself was pretty confusing as it shows some kids inside some sort of institute playing with puzzles. There’s one short scene that shows a child stacking some blocks which LEGO has recreated showing a minifigure stacking some bricks. I’m not sure if LEGO is teasing some more LEGO Stranger Things sets or just getting in on the hype. I’m guessing the latter. Currently there’s only one set based on the show which is The Upside Down (75810). There was also a Barb minifigure that was exclusive to SDCC 2019. Are you excited that the show is finally coming back soon after a short delay and seeing the kids grown up? Original linkOriginal author: Allen "Tormentalous" Tran
