As reported yesterday, the promotion for the LEGO Disney 100 Years Celebration (40600) is now available again on the LEGO Shop. You can get the set for free with purchases of $100 in LEGO Disney and Disney DUPLO but it excludes Star Wars and Marvel. In addition, you can get the LEGO Houses of the World 3 (40594) with purchases of $250 or more. There’s a lot of new sets that have been released since the two promotions initially ran a few months ago so it’s a little easier to get them. Once upon a time, I was displaying my LEGO Beatles album covers at a crowded event on a tightly packed table, and a handsy child reached over the barricade. *TOUCH* Propped on easels, the thirteen album covers fell like dominoes. The MOC on the end shot dramatically in the air, flipping three times in slow motion. I leapt to the table’s edge, and caught “Please, Please Me” inches before it crashed to the floor. Toys R Us in the Asia Pacific region has started a new promotion called the LEGO Mini Hobby Series which features a series of small builds revolving around various hobbies. Each week until the end of October, there will be a new build to collect when you spend a certain amount. They aren’t listed as the annual Bricktober sets although TRU Canada lists them as part of the Bricktober deals. We’ll see if they come as LEGO Insiders Rewards in the future. We’ve received word that the “sold out” LEGO Disney 100 Years Celebration (40600) gift with purchase set will be coming back in a few days. From September 23-30, you can get the set with $100 purchase of LEGO Disney and Disney DUPLO. This also excludes Star Wars and Marvel even though they’re owned by Disney. If you remember, the Disney 100 Years Celebration promotion went live in July and it sold out in less than a day. LEGO Brand Stores also reportedly didn’t get much in stock as well.
