What better way to show your excitement for the LEGO Porsche than to crash test it? The leading computer magazine in Germany, c't, ran a contest giving away one of these orange beauties, but they also crash tested one with the help of the German motor club ADAC. And by crash test I don't mean tossing off your balcony (I still get hate mail for that), they used an actual crash test facility and shot it from many, many angles with high speed cameras. The results are pretty epic. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
The wait is finally over because the official trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 has just been released. The trailer gives off a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 feel and it shows Groot and Rocket Raccoon getting into some trouble, as they usually do. It also shows off some new characters including Ego in planet form, Spider-Man Noir, something that appears to be a Sentinel, and a somewhat better look at Kang the Conqueror. There’s nothing of actual gameplay footage so we’ll have to wait until E3 and San Diego Comic Con for those. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be released on November 14 for the PlayStation 4, XBox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will be coming this holiday season. Update: WB has requested the videos be taken down at this time. I’ll put it back when they release it. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is...

If you follow my Instagram page, you probably would have seen that I’ve recently received the summer 2017 wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets. Due to my short vacation last week and also busy reviewing some of the recent LEGO Minecraft sets, there’s one last TLBM set from the initial wave to review, Arkham Asylum (70912). It consists of 1,628 pieces and goes for $149.99 which is a decent $0.09/piece especially for a licensed set. Minifigures There are a whopping 12 minifigures in this set, Batman, Robin, Barbara Gordon, Aaron Cash, male GCPD Officer, female GCPD Officer, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Catwoman, and The Riddler. Batman is the same minifigure as in previous TLBM sets. His facial expressions include an angry look and a disgusted look. His accessories are a couple of Batarangs. Robin has on the same red, green, and yellow outfit as in other...

A new addition to Chris McVeigh's arcade game designs: air hockey! This is such a simple, but incredibly accurate and seemingly playable design! I really like that it's minifigure scale, too. Thanks to those new modified 1x1 round tiles with pegs, this design is even more complete. I'm looking forward to Chris' possible future designs and color combinations of these! "The work has stalled, I need you to come back." In this scene, recreated from Rogue One by Inthert, Director Orson Krennic is attempting to convince Galen Erso to return to his work on Project Celestial Power after finding the Ersos on Lah'mu. This scene is instantly recognizable, with the interesting landscaping and of course the Death Troopers. I also really like the devices that Inthert created for this scene, like the moisture vaporator. Original linkOriginal author: Nathaniel Stoner
Quite literally. Builder Grant Davis continues to churn out models for Iron Builder (nothing from KOS yet, where are you KOS?) and this latest one can actually be used to cool him off while he builds more. Check out the video to see this 100% purist MOC in action. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy

Dragonflies are one of those creatures that captivates everyone's imagination. Even if you see them all the time, you have to pause to appreciate one. Their elegant wings, slender body and iridescent surface makes them unique and beautiful. Speaking of beautiful, check out this dragonfly by Takamichi Irie, with some incredible flex tube work on the wings, gorgeous! Original linkOriginal author: Tommy

It's still my favorite batmobile, the one from Tim Burton's groundbreaking Batman from 1989. Builder hachiroku24 nails the aesthetic of this now classic car. There's even room for Batman inside (but not Vicki Vale, probably for the best) and he shares how to build it on YouTube, check out the video! Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
