I know it's not a huge stretch of the imagination, but I watched (listened to?) Star Wars A New Hope just yesterday afternoon. While I'm not a huge fan of the "enhancements" (please Disney, release the original theatrical cut on Blu-Ray!) I do always have to look up from what I'm doing and watch the stormtroopers in the desert. So this latest offering from LEGO 7 pleases me to no end, just look at that noble beast! If you’ve been following the reveals of the summer 2018 LEGO Creator sets, you may already know about the Pirate Roller Coaster (31084) but did you know there’s another pirate themed set? There are now official images of another LEGO Creator set coming out of Alternate which shows the new Treehouse Treasures (31078). It is a 3-in-1 one set that has 260 pieces and the main build is the pirate-themed treehouse. The alternate builds include a small pirate ship and a skull island. This one looks to be a popular set among fans. The post LEGO Creator Treehouse Treasures (31078) Revealed appeared first on The Brick Fan. Original linkOriginal author: Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

Next week is the start of the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2018 event and the main item during the promotion is the BB-8 (40288) polybag. It consists of 48 pieces and you can get it on May 4th only with a purchase of $75 or more while supplies last. BB-8 is in the same scale as the R2-D2 from last year. The build is fairly simple and the base of it uses a basic cube technique. It also relies on five printed 4×4 dishes for the design of the body which is good. The bottom dish is attached to some plates which connects to the bottom of the cube while having a Technic joint to attach the head to. As for the head, it is also printed and uses the same dome piece as R2-D2 but with BB-8 design. As I said before, it attaches to the body using...

Okay, so this is a real place.  Near Copenhagen, Denmark, there's a gigantic incinerator building, and on the roof there's an artificial ski slope that can be used year round.  Wow!  So, Lasse Vestergard, continuing with his endeavor to recreate the architectural designs of the Bjarke Ingels Group, has faithfully constructed it in LEGO form.  Cool!  Hot?  Well, you get what I mean... Saturday mornings were a big deal when I was a kid (yeah, WAY back then). Kids today can't understand the struggle that was kid friendly television back then. We waiting all week for some decent TV, and you can bet we weren't going to miss it. Scooby Doo was a big part of that, and we looked forward to the adventures of Scooby and the gang. Builder BRICK 101 understands how important these two are, and has immortalized them in Brickheadz form. Not only that, but he shows how to build them in this video, check it out. I think it's possible I was born in the wrong century when it comes to car appreciation. I'm either fascinated with an old time classic, or looking to the future. It's quite possible that it's because most contemporary cars, starting about the 70's to now, lack design or craftsmanship. But check out the lines of this classic Lambda by builder looooookl. Sure you may look at it and think "Chicago gangster", but I look at it and think "golden age of hollywood". Original linkOriginal author: Tommy

Check out these awesome little Star Wars MOCs from builder DOGOD Brick Design. It's everyone's favorite droid trio, C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8. With a pin or magnet on the back they would be a pretty nifty little wearable. But as they are I'm going to call them mini busts.  Original linkOriginal author: Tommy

I don't know what a plague mech is, but if this is a typical one they scare me. Black on black was a bold choice for photographing this MOC by The Chosen One, a gamble that paid off. What you don't see is just as important as what you do, this thing is scary. You get just enough visual queues to see the overall form, and key details, and the rest is left to your imagination, your terrified imagination. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy

This is one of those MOCs that just keeps giving. The kind you have to view in high resolution to truly appreciate. The amount of detail and clever part use in this relatively small diorama by builder roΙΙi is pretty astounding, everywhere you look there's something unique or just fun happening. Do yourself a favor and click through to see the largest version of this, it's worth it. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
