Macy’s is ending the year on a high note as they have some one day only sales with sets discounted up to 40% off. The selection of sets that have been discounted aren’t too bad with 66 sets on the list ranging from 20% to 40% off. It looks like LEGO has one last promotion for 2025 as they have brought back the LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz Brite Bomber (40728). From now until December 24, you can get it with purchases of $90 or more, while supplies last. The 151 piece set was originally available last October but it seems they still have stock left over to run the promotion again. As a Rakuten/LinkShare Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases. We’ve had costumed characters before but this Animal series is the first one to focus completely on them. Like with the last few series of Collectible Minifigures, they are packaged in blind boxes. They still the scannable codes on the bottom of the boxes to identify them using various minifigure identifier apps. We received the gravity boxes for review which has the full set of 12. This is the setting for LEGO’s first foray into minifigure play sets within the much-debated ‘toys for girls’ market. This small theme ran sparsely from 1992 to 1997, giving way to other pink-dominated themes like Scala and Belville (let’s not forget Clikits!) before minidolls arrived in Heartlake City in 2012. However, all is not as utopian as it seems in Paradisa. Island life has a shady side… Miami Vice or Paradisa Virtue? The influence of the police procedural ‘Miami Vice’ on fashion in the 1980s is a thesis itself—suffice it to say that the mid-1980s saw a dramatic rise in the popularity of pastel shades and an Art Deco revival. LEGO was characteristically behind the curve in responding to the trend, eventually launching the...

It’s been a week and a half since our last LEGO Ideas update and a few more projects have been added to the list of ones that have reached the Third 2025 Review Stage. Compared to the last round, it seems to have slowed down a lot as we’re only up to 47 projects that have hit the 10,000 supporter goal.
