ComicBook.com has revealed some of the dinosaurs that will be in the upcoming LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth sets. The set haven’t been shown off yet but they did show the Titanosaurus, Spinosaurus which we saw in the teaser earlier today, Quetzalcoatlus, and a brick-built Mosasaurus. Jurassic World Rebirth will be in theaters July 2 so we should be seeing the sets in stores around the same time. Not that too surprising, it has been announced that there will be LEGO sets for the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth movie. The movie takes place five years after Jurassic World Dominion and a team is sent to a remote island to acquire DNA of the largest creatures. As for the sets, we can guess that we’ll be getting dinosaur figures of some of the ones seen in the trailer including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus, Mosasaurus, and the mutated one which should be the feature attraction. LEGO’s Instagram has posted a teaser which shows the Spinosaurus between the trees. Disney’s Phineas and Ferb Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated by Inevitable Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 3000 piece build is a resubmission of the same project with some slight changes on this one although it is still a five story modular building. The project joins Civil Engineering: Types of Bridges – Revisited, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Go Go Power Rangers! LEGO Megazord, Booknook: Story Laboratory, Medieval Knight, Coraline – The Pink Palace, Taylor Swift Lover House, Jellyfish Collection, Nolinor Boeing 737-200, Portal 2: Core Replacement Station, Ancient Roman Temple, The Holiday – Rosehill Cottage, Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow, Appa the Sky Bison, Grand Central Station, “Love Enlighten Me” The Bench of the Lampposts in Love, Bob Ross – The Joy of Building, and Peter Rabbit and the Garden as the ones to reach the First 2025 Review Stage. The LEGO Marvel X-Men X-Jet (76281) was one of the more overpriced sets in 2024 but there’s a discount on Amazon that makes the price easier to swallow. The set has already been discounted by 12% but there’s also a $7.14 coupon that you can apply which essentially drops the price down to $67.99. This is roughly 20% off the retail price of $84.99. I have a feeling that this set won’t be getting any significant discounts (30%+) unless you happen to find it in stores when they’re marked down. Every LEGO Marvel release has to have a small vehicle set and in 2025 there are actually two of them. The first one we’re checking out is the Spider-Man vs. Venom Muscle Car (76309). The set has 254 pieces and retails for $29.99. Minifigures There are three minifigures in the set, Spider-Man, Venom, and Spider-Woman. Spider-Man is the usual minifigure that we’ve seen before in previous Marvel sets with the printing on the arms. His accessories include some white Power Blast pieces for his webs. There’s also the new large rubber web piece that is able to close up to capture villains. Venom is also a reused minifigure. There’s nothing much to him but he does have a neck bracket for the black tentacles. Spider-Woman is a brand new minifigure that you can get for retail. The only other one was the San Diego Comic Con 2013 exclusive. This version of...

Welcome back to “The Conversation Piece,” a new BrickNerd series authored by our friends over at the Builder Improvement Initiative (BII), a Discord-based community that helps LEGO builders of all levels get better at their craft through knowledge-sharing and feedback. This will be a place for you to ask all of your trickier questions about creativity and building out of LEGO bricks. Have a question you'd like us to consider for a future article? You can submit it here. Enjoy! What Makes a MOC Outstanding? Anonymous asks: “In your opinion, what makes a MOC outstanding?” “Excellent!” “Great!” “Awesome!” These terms are common currency in the world we live in, and one is so easily traded for the other that choosing among them doesn’t really seem to matter anymore. But in this series, we aim to go a little further down than the surface, so let’s see what we can dig up....

For each issue of BrickJournal Magazine, the BrickNerd team creates instructions for a LEGO mini-model to go with the theme of the cover story. For a recent issue about Classic Space, we created some Mini Rovers. Building a Mini Rover To celebrate Febrovery, I made instructions for some cute Mini Rovers that were originally made for an ILUGNY contest. There are two designs that look nearly identical depending on the color tread you want. The primary design is based on using the new round double 1 x 2 element with two bars as the treads or the curved 1x2 plate. You can build the Mini Rover in as many different color schemes as you like to match whatever look or Classic Space faction you love most in microscale. Here are the step-by-step instructions to build the first version of the rover using the curved brick with bars and a 1x1 clip...
