But before we jump into our “review” and the mishaps/hijinks that followed, let’s take a step back and look at the history of the BrickLink Designer Program. That same year, The LEGO Group acquired BrickLink, and to celebrate Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs), they introduced the AFOL Designer Program. LEGO has revealed a new gift with purchase set coming soon with the LEGO Creator Duck Family (40885). The set has 262 pieces and it features a mother duck with three ducklings. It’s been a while since our last LEGO Ideas update and it’s been busy over there as nine more projects have reached the First 2026 Review Stage. There’s been a little bit of everything that fans have voted for. One interesting note is that we have one fan designer that has multiple projects in one round which is pretty rare.
