The annual Bionicle building competition Bio-Cup is nearly over. The semifinals end in a few days, and then it will be down to the last three competitors to battle it out for the first-place title. If you don’t know about Bio-Cup yet, it’s the largest LEGO constraction building contest with over 150 entries that all get narrowed down to one victor in a tournament-style competition. Each round has a unique theme and lasts two weeks, with builders in groups of three or four battling head-to-head to move on to the next round. With great prizes on the line, such as sealed sets, custom resin cast masks, and cash, it’s no surprise this contest brings out the absolute best in everyone. Dungeons & Dragons will be at San Diego Comic Con 2024 and it looks like there will be some LEGO related content happening there. At Booth #3213 throughout the weekend, there will be some recent releases on display including LEGO which most likely will be the Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) but it also mentions there will be upcoming releases on display. Perhaps there will be a sneak peek at the upcoming LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures Series which is scheduled to be coming in September. I’ll swing by to check out what’s going on there and report back. More than ten years ago, the Guilds of Historica RPG started on Eurobricks.com. It’s the longest-running LEGO fantasy RPG where castle builders can connect and be inspired by a supportive community. An important part of that group is competing in contests and challenges. The very first one was called “Build a Watchtower.” To celebrate their tenth anniversary, the task was revisited once again to build a watchtower anew. It’s always surprising to see people’s unique approach to completing such a challenge. Let’s have a look at the towers that the members of the fantasy realm came up with.
