For the Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts event, Warner Bros Games has announced a remaster of the LEGO Harry Potter Collection but this time for the current generation consoles and Steam coming October 8. The collection combines both LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Years 5-8 as well as the DLC packs that were released. This remaster will have updated graphics and have gameplay at 60 FPS in native 4k resolution as well as haptic feedback and high-res shadow maps. Players that already own the current versions of the game can get the PS5 or Xbox Series versions at discounted prices. Another LEGO Seasonal Christmas set that will be released soon is the Christmas Ornament Selection (40744). The set contains 153 pieces and will retail for $12.99. There are four different ornaments that can be built simultaneously and each of them has a little loop so you can hang them on your tree. The Santa one uses a lot of quarter-circle and half-circle tiles to get the shape of his beard. The reindeer has some lights on its antlers which use some red 1×1 tiles as well as some translucent-green tiles. The present is fairly generic but does have a red ribbon that goes on the front and a bow on top. Lastly, the snowman has your Frosty look with the carrot nose and has a top hat and scarf. Every now and then a LEGO train MOC comes by that takes your breath away and steams things up. Today is one of those days! Not just a train but a wonderful Swedish Class S1 2-6-4. Doesn't ring a train bell? Well, I get that because the name doesn't say much to me either. What does speak to me is the elegance of the MOC that carries that name.
