I'm a fan of this movie, and the fact that I played a completely insignificant role in it's making fills me with strangely misplaced pride. LEGO has finally officially revealed the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309). The set will consist of 1,969 pieces and retail for $119.99 and it stands at about 1 meter high (1:110 scale). This will be the largest LEGO Ideas set to date and will be available starting on June 1. Yes, it will come out the same day as the LEGO Creator Carousel (10257) which was announced yesterday. If you didn’t notice, there’s one little Easter egg hidden in the piece count. Markus Rollbühler is clearly excited to see our favorite baby tree in existence on the big screen! Now, this little figure of Groot is excellent, especially the shaping of the head, and those cute little eyes. I think the sand green was a nice color choice, even when mixed with the olive green. I also really love the control device, with those buttons and levers. My only question is, who has the tape? Not a single person has tape? I think we should put some tape over the death button. Since the original Gameboy appeared in 1989 Nintendo has pretty much ruled the handheld gaming roost. I bought two immediately, and I still have them. Through the years we've watched them morph in shape, size and features, but the fun has stayed the same. Builder -derjoe- is clearly a fan and has a fresh batch of old school Gameboy Colors to share. Toys R Us has revealed the LEGO Star Wars Princess Leia build that will be happening on May 6 from 12-2pm local time, while supplies last. Honestly, the build looks bad but collectors will still want to get it and kids will have fun building it. More details about store exclusive bundles for the home version of The LEGO Batman Movie have been revealed. I’ve been notified by a reader that Toys R Us will also have a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD bundle available which includes The Mini Batmobile (30521) polybag for $34.99. This polybag is the same one that was available a few months ago at TRU. This bundle adds on to the list of other store exclusives that I’ve reported on earlier which includes a lunchbag from Walmart, the Batgirl (30612) minifigure polybag and postcards from Target, and a SteelBook from Best Buy.
