This is a fairly unconventional build, most of the parts aren't attached to each other, so it's more of an "arrangement". And those flexible Technic connectors are under considerable strain, therefor "illegal". But I don't care about any of that, it's awesome! So simple, yet so effective. When I was a kid I was a big fan of the little known TV show "A Man Called Sloane", a spy series in the spirit of James Bond and Mission: Impossible. While Sloan was cool, his right hand man (pun intended) Torque was awesome, he had an amazing chrome mechanical hand with attachments. They would have been the perfect adversary of this character by vincentkiew, an eco-terrorist named Barret Wallace (from Final Fantasy VII), who also has a pretty spectacular modular arm. Closing out on some of the 2018 Nuremberg Toy Fair news, LEGO showed off a new LEGO BrickHeadz set called Go Brick Me (41597) which costs 29.99 Euros. There are no images of the set but you are basically given enough parts to build two BrickHeadz to your liking. I wonder if there are parts for you to build the BrickHeadz mascot, Nonnie, as well. This is not a huge reveal but it might be for those who collect LEGO BrickHeadz. Welcome to the wild, whimsical, wonderful world of Salonica from builder Gunman. There's loads of detail in this colorful and imaginative diorama, I highly recommend clicking through to explore the larger images. Measuring in at 144 x 144 studs it's definitely on the large size, but not so big it's difficult to take in. If you’ve been holding out on getting the 60 Years of the LEGO Brick (40290), your luck has probably ran out. After about four days, the set is now sold out on Shop@Home at least here in the US. The promotion has now been replaced with last month’s LEGO City Dragster with a purchase of $35 or more. As predicted before the promo started, I figured this set would be very popular with the fans as it has a nostalgic vibe to it. There may still be some LEGO Brand Stores that may still have them available so your best chance is to call them up directly and see if they do indeed have them.
