I like to think it's some sort of rescue mission, where a hostile alien encounter is about to happen. I'll be honest, I haven't completely wrapped my head around this latest offering from Ochre Jelly, mostly because I have practically no knowledge of Voltron, old or new. Iain describes this series as a "LEGO love note to the amazing animated Netflix show VOLTRON : LEGENDARY DEFENDER." and having not seen it, the characters mean nothing to me. Earlier this year, it was revealed that there was going to be a LEGO Architecture Las Vegas (21047) set but as we know by now, it was delayed due to the tragedy late last year at one of the original hotels in the set. Fast forward eight months and LEGO decided to swap out one of the hotels as well as changing out the box printing and a few pages out of the instruction booklet. There’s no details of the price but counting the parts in the back of the booklet, there are 501 pieces unless I calculated wrong. The contents of the box include five unnumbered bags and the instruction booklet. Instruction Booklet Like with all of the other LEGO Architecture sets, the first few pages talk about the city and the particular buildings that are in the set. Surprisingly, there isn’t that many facts as I would have thought....

No, not the Bond villain, this is a different villain, namely Frau Irene Engel from Wolfenstein. Come to think of it, she's also not a man, ignore that title, it makes no sense. Nick Brick built this ornate beauty, using only official LEGO pearl gold elements. She's an absolute icon, and synonymous with all things Disney. She started every TV show and ends the fireworks show at Disneyland. She is if course Tinkerbell. This rendition by reticence is instantly recognizable and absolutely magical. Fun fact: the first lady to make the flight as Tinkerbell was the legendary Tiny Kline, a 70 year old circus performer. Any time I hear "Queen of hearts" two things happen: I think of the character from Disney's animated classic Alice in Wonderland (not the Burton film, she was just weird) and that terrible song (which will now be stuck in my head the rest of the damn day). I would really like to shift those things to this imposing but beautiful lady by builder LegoWyrm, I'd much rather think of her. Of course we'll have to wait and see (fingers crossed). To much dismay of LEGO fans, there were no LEGO system sets that were produced for the movie which was interesting however there some LEGO Dimensions sets but they weren’t the same. Fast forward to this year and LEGO has revived the Harry Potter theme with the Wizarding World tie-in and there is finally a Fantastic Beasts set that is worth waiting for with Newt’s Case of Magical Creatures (75952). The Fiat 500 F project by saabfan is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It is a detailed replication of the 1968 Fiat 500 F and it has 1,157 pieces. There are some play features that are included such as opening hood, trunk, and doors, a sunroof, a removable luggage rack, and more. This is saabfan’s second project to get 10,000 supporters with his first one being the NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) that is now on store shelves. The project now joins a number of other projects in the Second 2018 Review Stage including the SpaceX Falcon Heavy, International Space Station, SpaceX – The Ultimate Collection, Steamboat Willie, M&M’s Chocolate Candy Dispenser, Rolls-Royce UltraFan – The Ultimate Jet Engine, and Peugeot 205 Turbo 16.
