Build Starting on the largest area of the course, there’s a large platform where the Snowman stands and below is where Freezie is at. The object here is to jump on the branch on the left to knock over Freezie to get the fruit tag inside. Another feature here at the top is to turn the area and the Snowman’s head will roll off the icicle to knock over the Koopa below. The Snowman uses mostly round parts to get its shape. One of the new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets is the Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters (76253) and it is the first one out of the wave we’ll check out. It has only 67 pieces and retails for $9.99. Minifigures This set only contains Star-Lord and Groot as the minifigures. Star-Lord has on the new Guardians uniform which takes reference from the comics version. The color scheme is mostly dark blue with some red and gray highlights. His double-sided head shows him with a somewhat confused look on one side and a stern expression on the other. His accessories are his Quad Blasters. In my last review of the 2023 LEGO Ninjago sets, we take a look at the Creative Ninja Brick Box (71787). It has 530 pieces and retails for $59.99. Minifigures There are six minifigures in the set, Nya, Kai, Master Wu, Male Apprentice, Female Apprentice, and Bone Hunter. In my last review of the LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water sets, we check out Payakan the Tulkun & Crabsuit (75579). The largest set in the wave consists of 761 pieces and retails for $99.99. Minifigures There are three minifigures in the set, the Crabsuit Driver, Lo’ak, and Tsireya. The Crabsuit Driver has a very detailed military torso that could potentially be used as an army builder. The same goes for the legs as well. He has a pretty generic angry face and wears a beanie. Lo’ak has a fairly boring look to him with nothing that really stands out for him. This also goes the same for Tsireya however her torso does show some metallic silver coverings. This is the same minifigure as in the Ilu Discovery (75575). The same goes for paintings, like the work of artist Jakub Różalski who creates alternate universes on canvas. His classic style of paintings often combines a rural landscape with mechs in the background. These mechs often look peaceful but you can feel the silent threat of the machines in the distance. His creative work has been used for the board game Scythe and the recent real-time strategy game Iron Harvest.
