When we first encountered the LEGO castle creations from Luke, who posts on Instagram as cathedralofbricks, we were immediately struck by the builder’s skill with medieval architecture and dramatic landscaping. It looks like the LEGO Marvel X-Men X-Jet (76281) has gotten its permanent discount on Amazon. It is now priced at $67.99 which is 20% off or $17 off the regular price of $84.99. It does have minifigures of Wolverine, Cyclops, Rogue, and Magneto and that partly contributes to the higher price on top of the Disney tax. I’m curious to see if it will actually go any lower online (not the Walmart/Target markdowns) or if it’ll just be at this price until it retires. The twelve-year-old me loved dinosaurs. Who am I kidding? The version of me that’s more than a half a century old with an aching back also loves dinosaurs. Zombie-fy said dinosaurs and build it in LEGO and you pretty much have reached nirvana. That’s what is going on with moptoptrev’s new creation called Primal Plague of Madness inspired by the Primal animated series. The builder is on a spooky streak of late.
