I’m naturally an optimist. Despite the seemingly downward spiral humanity seems to be in recently I like to think we’ll make it to another enlightened age, one of exploration and beyond the bounds of this planet. Something like the future envisioned by builder ranghaal with this excellent metropolis in space. I’ve only spent time in Manhattan once, for a working gig so I didn’t get to see as much as I would have liked. Surprisingly enough, I only took a single cab ride the entire time (the subway is pretty much the way to go there) but I can assure you, it wasn’t nearly as nice as this wonderful vehicle by redfern1950s2. Starting next week on October 15 until the end of the month, LEGO will be running a new promotion at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home for the LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359). The set has 55 pieces and you can get it for free with purchases of $75 or more, while supplies last. The frame comes “packaged” in a slipcover and the bag of parts are taped on to the frame. Don’t worry, the tape won’t stick so much to the frame that it’ll rip it. Minifigure There is an exclusive minifigure that comes with the frame which is a guy that fits more in with the summertime. The Chemical Plant by Ymarilego is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The plant is set on two 32×32 gray baseplates and it consists of about 1,900 pieces. It has lots of detail of what you would typically see in an actual chemical plant. It joins the Dinosaurs Follils Skeletons – Natural History Collection as the projects to reach the Third 2018 Review Stage. The LEGO Creator Winter Village Fire Station (10263) has just been released and LEGO was gracious enough to send over a review copy to see if it is a worthy enough set to add to your Winter Village. It has 1,166 pieces and retails for $99.99 which is a decent price for what you get. It has 10 total bags that are numbered from 1-3. The two instruction books are packaged along with a small sticker sheet. Minifigure There are six minifigures in this set along with a baby. There is a young male that wears a light brown sweater with blue pants.
