LEGO has released the results from the first round of voting for the 90th Anniversary Fan Vote on LEGO Ideas. The LEGO themes that will move on to the final vote include Bionicle, Classic Space, and Pirates. LEGO has also acknowledged that splitting the vote on the various Castle themes was a bad move on their part and they have added Castle to the final round of voting which has now started. There are some new LEGO sets that have been rotated in for the double VIP points for the month of February 2021. First is the LEGO Technic Off-Road Buggy (42124) and you can get 1,690 points for it. The other set is the LEGO Super Mario Master Your Adventure Maker Set (71380) and you can get 780 VIP points with your purchase. In a sponsored Facebook ad from South African LEGO Certified Store, Yellow Brick Company, we got our first look at the LEGO Amelia Earhart Tribute (40450) set. It features the red Lockheed 5B Vega which she used to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 1932. The ad shows that you have to spend R2500 or more on any LEGO product to get it. There’s no word yet on when it will be available here in the US.
