The humble LEGO sausage element (33078) has been around since 1998. But is there still untapped yumminess there despite being so long-lived? Personally, it’s one of my favorite oddball parts with a wide variety of uses. Yet, I don’t think I ever actually used it as a sausage, hot dog, or other tubular meat stick of your choosing. I find it so much more interesting. At its heart, it’s really just a bar that’s curved. It has all the connection possibilities of a bar but with the added functionality of having a more organic curved shape. Walmart will be holding their Collector Con event next month and it looks like LEGO will be part of the offerings. On March 14 & 15, Walmart will be dropping collectibles from various companies with sneak peeks starting on March 7. LEGO has been doing Collector Con for a few years with all the reveals being LEGO Star Wars sets so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’ll be the same this year. LEGO has announced two new gameplay experiences in LEGO Fortnite called LEGO Islands which include LEGO Raft Survival and LEGO Obby Fun modes. LEGO Raft Survival is a multiplayer problem solving mode that uses the classic LEGO Pirates theme where you have to stay afloat on the raft.
