LEGO has officially revealed a new LEGO Ninjago 2026 set with the Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary (71858). Releasing on January 1, the set has 1,259 pieces and will retail for $99.99. The set recreates the blacksmith’s workshop which was the location from the pilot episode of LEGO Ninjago. The set includes minifigures from the history of Ninjago including Maya, Ray, Nya, Blacksmith Kai, Master Wu, and a limited edition Master of Earth. October brought no shortage of great LEGO content from around the globe! Here at BrickNerd, we started the month by providing a Spiderman-themed spider model for Halloween and ended it with instructions for a cute ghost trick-or-treater. We had some fun with Wednesday sets, and learned about customizing a real-world motorcycle with LEGO, and cracked the secret code of LEGO castle sets. We looked at removing printing from LEGO elements to create a new minifig look and investigated how minifigure keychains are constructed to repair a sentimental keepsake. We checked in with our FLL team, sent a castle to space, doubled down on developing a LEGO style, and learned more than we ever wanted to know about LEGO clowns. Are you scared yet? I doubt it. This brick-built Halloween ghost isn’t here to scare anyone, just to get some candy! Yes, if you peek under that white sheet, there is just a kid in a costume going trick-or-treating. This build is another idea that our Nerd-in-Chief, Dave, gave me (like our Halloween spider instructions)—and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I was thinking of doing a version of the character without the white cloth, but this might be a fun little challenge for you to build. I dare you! The costume looks good in person. And those wheels - hard to find them in studio :D I really love the cute sneakers and the positioning, which show that this kid is mid-skate, heading to the next house to trick-or-treat.
