Earlier today, Deadline has reported that LEGO and Universal Pictures will be making four live-action movies which includes a new LEGO Ninjago movie. Jill Wilfert and Ryan Christians from The LEGO Group will be producing all the live action ones while Jake Kasdan, Patty Jenkins, and Joe Cornish will be directing. Kevin and Dan Hageman will be writing the script for the Ninjago movie. Universal’s latest movie Piece by Piece with Pharrell Williams is currently in theaters. As of this post, there is less than 19 hours left to get your pre-orders in for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 sets. There are only two sets that have hit the 30,000 maximum limit which are the Forest Stronghold and Camping Adventure but there are two that are very close behind. The only set that will probably not hit the max is Lost City but has reached the minimum amount required for it to be produced. Magneto was right – a lot of people have been saying it. Even Professor X saw fit to hand over his X-Men to Magnus in the event of his death (or engagement to a space empress). LEGO builder and Marvel fan flambo14 shows their pro-Magneto stripes, creating a throne from a dismembered Sentinel hand for the the Master of Magnetism.  Flambo14 creates artfully arranged chaos with a mix of scrap metal parts for the raised dais, held in place not by magnetism, but by tension and cleverly concealed LEGO connections.
