LEGO Chinese Festival Galloping Horse Canvas (80119) Review
The other LEGO Chinese Festival 2026 set that we want to check out before the Chinese/Lunar New Year is the Galloping Horse Canvas (80119). The set has 1,650 pieces and retails for $109.99.
Minifigures
There are two minifigures in the set, a painter and a Year of the Horse costumed person. The painter is a little girl that has on a green outfit. Her double-sided head shows smiles on both sides. Her accessory is a brick-built brush.
The Year of the Horse costume guy wears a traditional red outfit and he wears a horse head. His double-sided head shows him with a smile on one side and a smirk on the other. His accessory is an apple.
Build
The build is made to look like a painting in the background with four horses in the front. The canvas is made of a soft fabric showing four horses and a Chinese phrase offering good luck and prosperity. The canvas is clipped on to make it look like it’s a scroll being pulled down.
The four horses are built similarly, each with their unique looks. The legs are the only things that are poseable on them. They connect to the base using the Technic bars and can “gallop” using the handle on the side.
The base features a very colorful display of flame yellowish orange and teal clouds.
Lastly, we have a little table in the front of the painter’s desk showing a painting of a horse.
