Wake up samurai, these Cyberpunk minifigures have the coolest upgrades around [Minifig Monday]

In the neon-lit world of cyberpunk, storytelling thrives on the fusion of humanity and machine. Despite never having an official LEGO theme, this aesthetic has inspired a gritty niche within the minifigure community. Creators replace standard arms, legs, and accessories with intricate, high-tech upgrades that evoke a dystopian future, popularized by video games, movies and TV. In this post, we’ll explore the impressive craftsmanship of LEGO ripper doctors and celebrate the possibilities of LEGO’s increasingly intricate part selection.

Devid_vii delivers some top notch tactical troopers & a K Walker Unit in a sleek tiled-off design, creatively using four black microphones as missile pods. We love the articulation of this warbeast achieved using black pneumatic ‘T’s on its hips and feet.

Perhaps the most prolific Cyberpunk minifigure creator, Bam.bricks.customs has created an array of brick-built legs using Exo-force and minifigure hands that really pack a punch. Coupled with dual hazard-strip cyber swords and a rare Overwatch gasmask, “Codename: Savage” is right at home in 2077 cityscape.

Cyber Samurai need a way to speed around and Ronin.bricks gives us an entirely brick-built motorcycle. We’re so accustomed to seeing pre-fab chassis, so seeing these tyres held together using only bars, clips and plates is truly inspiring.

Brickbot_studio uses a litany of CMF parts to capture the colour and vibrance of a neon-lit city, including the new spiderverse metal mohawk and SpiderGwen undercut to name a few. On the right, Mr Loadout sports yellow gorilla-like arm enhancements. These cyber stilts are so eye catching that we almost missed the smaller black robotic arms that replace the classic minifig appendages.

Trauma Team is the cold-hearted healthcare service of Night City. Johnzeyen brings a bright representation of these pitiless paramedics.

As well as robotic enhancements, the Cyberpunk world is home to bombastic weapons. Ale_lego_93‘s Cyber Hunter is kitted out with an agile exoskeleton and an upsized shooter that would make a Borderlands veteran blush.

Is it a bird, is it a plane? No it’s amorphousbricks‘s 0nyx Re4per. Soaring above the skyscrapers, this cyber glider uses Ninjago swords and black horns to create this Vulture-esque fig of prey.

Thelegomatic‘s latest behemoth is more machine than man, expertly incorporating a astromech droid body in the interface section and two huge engines into the lower legs. It’s giving David Martinez vibes.

Bigfigs relish tech enhancements too. Dwarvernbricks has pimped up the new Hulk body with a sword and gun arm, notably including back exhausts and two shoulder-mounted roller-skates where the wheels seem to be micro missle launchers for dainty demolition.

Capt.dark.shark ‘s iconic cyber ronin make eye contact a thing of the past. By reversing the classic fire brigade oxygen mask, he has created eerie night vision goggles, that pair excellently with dark tan and olive green tactical gear.

One of the LEGO moc community’s most iconic megabuilds is the stunning Cyberpunk city of New Hashima. A collaboration that seems to get bigger every year. Ids de Jong displays the city’s corrupt police force, utilising the CMF Ice Planet helmet for the officers and a selection of Bionicle parts to give unique texture to this armoured walker.

Zarkar.ion’s Stone Crusher reminds us that lego cyber enhancements can be for industrial use, instead of combat. These drill hands would look right at home in a gritty revival of Rock Raiders or Power Miners.

Duncan Lindbo puts the “cute” in execute with their Sugar High Cicada missile mech. Using the uncommon colours light aqua and magenta, but also a clever use of baby bottles for the mech’s feet. Always great to see alternative uses for parts from the Friends line.

Surfing sonic waves, Expansionbricks‘s Cyber Surfer drops in with a custom built engine bolted to a cmf surfboard and buzz saw arm that plugs into the minifig’s torso using the rubbery horn piece 53451

Does it taste like magenta in here? Redbirch_bricks is a relative newcomer to the custom minifig scene but they stand loud and proud with Re-volt, using string and rubber bands as ghastly exposed wires and an awesome speaker build on each limb.

Br1ckman_uk has created a cybernetic war centaur that feels right at home in the cyberpunk setting but with a distinctly fantasy flourish.

We can always count on lego_darkforge for a clean compact weapon build and this Corporate Militia man is no exception. using trans-pink studs stacked inside a pearl dark gray lantern which blends perfectly with the pink accents throughout the fig. Not to mention the gas mask cleverly mounted to the armor chestplate.

Many of the figs featured in this week’s edition are entries in the ongoing #exochampion2025 contest hosted by Bam.bricks.customs and capes4minifigs. Entrants must create a fig with at least one body part replaced with a brick-built augment. As of now, there are still plenty of places left to get involved.

That concludes our roundup of terrific Cyberpunk minifigs. If you enjoy Minifig Mondays, please give a follow to the creators featured and send them a kind word.
