LEGO Contest Round-Up for June 2025
A new month is upon us which means more competitive building! Are you ready? Here’s the latest bunch of LEGO contests and challenges from all around the AFOL community for June 2025 to help you find some inspiration and motivation to build! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to take you out of your comfort zone and give you something new to try. Besides, contests are the perfect place to interact with other contestants and judges and get to know your fellow builders. And if you’re like me, a deadline helps make sure you actually finish!
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time to the best advantage. Make sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Here at BrickNerd, some of our fondest memories, greatest building achievements, coolest trophies, and best friendships came from LEGO contests, so we really hope you try some of these out. We look forward to seeing what you build!
The preliminary round has been extended until June 9th. After that, you might not be able to enter this one anymore, but you will be able to watch subsequent rounds! The advancing builders will be competing against one another in matchups.

Eurobricks’ Licensed Multiverse Mayhem Contest
This contest calls for true mayhem and the brief is simple: Depict the chaos caused by your favorite LEGO IPs being smashed together on a 16x16 vignette, excluding Star Wars.

Prizes: Winner will receive a LEGO set up to 110€ in value, runner-up will receive a LEGO set up to 60€ in value

Eurobricks’ beloved May the 4th contest is back – with four different categories and lots of Star Wars MOCs to build! Will you create a crew, something asymmetrical, rebel against the Empire or build a Cantina? Whatever it may be, there’s a variety of prizes to be won!

Prizes: 9 different Star Wars sets or sets of equivalent value, up to 230€ – 2 prizes per category plus one prize for the competitor with the highest total score from all entered categories

The LEGO House is yet again looking for the builds that are the best of the best for the world-famous LEGO House in Billund, Denmark.
There are three different categories for you to choose from:
Under the Microscope is all about the fascinating things that are too small to see up close: Zoom in and find the fun in those details!
You can also explore the underwater worlds of 20,000 Bricks Under the Sea. Marine machines or mythical creatures – this is the category for it.
If it Runs on Rails then your model should be submitted for this category with its very fitting title: Trains, trams, funiculars, monorails… Be creative!
Deadline: July 8th
Prizes: 75+ winners across all three categories will each get a 21037 LEGO House set, 2 tickets to LEGO House, as well as the opportunity to have their model exhibited at the LEGO House for a year.
Three grand prize winners (one for each category) will also receive 40501 The Wooden Duck, 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute, as well as a brick-built LEGO trophy. Three Runner Ups (one per category) will each 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute (in addition to the 21037 LEGO House and the 2 LEGO House tickets outlined above).

Build a cool creation featuring a lobster or a lobstering scene. Three age divisions and a team one make it fair for anyone that enters, and there are four categories to choose from. Recreate a real lobster or be creative, use vibrant colors or build a lobstering scene!

JB’s LEGO Fantasy & Castle Building Competition 2025
The brief is rather open: As long as your creation fits within the LEGO ‘Fantasy and Castle’ theme, this contest will accept it. Keep it within 48x48 studs, but other than that there are no restrictions. The contest offers a category for AFOLs as well as a category for younger builders – plenty of opportunity to be creative!
Deadline: July 30th
Prizes: 10 winners (5 for each category) will receive shopping vouchers valued between 250€ and 25€

The Middle Earth LEGO Olympics return on June 16th and with that it’s once again time to celebrate Tolkien’s rich universe through the medium of LEGO bricks.
MELO is a bracket-style contest with an initital round that is open to anyone. After that the Top 16 builders move on and are pitted against each other in elimination rounds.
