Anime doesn’t get more visceral than Attack on Titan, where all that stands in the way of annihilation at the hands of fleshy giants is the brave Survey Corps, zipping around on wires like steampunk Spider-men. Builder nu_montag thrusts you right into the action with this immersive LEGO scene. You can feel the weight of the Colossal Titan’s sinewy gaze thanks to the dynamic perspective. Even more amazing, this shot contains just 100 LEGO elements!
The creation was built for the Rogue Olymics, an annual competition put on by the Rogue Bricks community that challenges builders to create a model based on a theme using 101 parts or less. For this contest, even stands and counterweights that can’t be seen in the photograph count. As evidenced in the behind-the-scenes photo, there are definitely quite a few pieces missing from the Colossal Titan, which makes hte fullness of the face we do see all the more remarkable.
