The LEGO Group has had many mascots and icons for its various in-house themes, video games, and other media that are still fondly remembered by fans of LEGO and referenced by the company today. Here at BrickNerd, we may have fooled a few of you with our “In The Groove” article, learned how creativity took one builder to the Masterpiece Gallery in The LEGO House, and took a look at some tips for LEGO stop motion animation. Rogue One gave us the U-Wing, with its four over-sized engines and two long s-foils. Star Wars: Rebels, however, delivered a slightly more used version. Liam Hunter has built the beat-up version in LEGO, with only two engines remaining and battered s-foils. If I am honest, I really prefer the look of the U-Wing in this shape.
