It's as classic as you get when talking about the early days of LEGO, the wooden duck pull toy. I had the distinct pleasure (and lets face it, stress) of having one in the studio while shooting the animation for the Brickumentary. It had it's own special case and was kept tucked away for security. You could hear angels sing every time I pulled it out for use (ok, maybe just in my head). LEGO has been announced as the second-most highly regarded company in the world on the 2018 RepTrak 100 survey. The Reputation Institute has annually done the survey in which LEGO ranked first last year but dropped just one spot this year which shows you how much the public still likes the company in terms of emotional appeal. This year also marks the eighth year in a row that LEGO has been in the top 10 on the survey. Check out the press release below. The official images of the LEGO BrickHeadz Jurassic World Owen & Blue (41614) are now available. As you can see, the set is a two pack and is reported to retail for $19.99 and it features Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and his faithful-ish velociraptor Blue. LEGO has just released the designer video for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) which comes a few weeks after the set became available. I still don’t understand why LEGO is releasing the videos after the set are already available and not the day of or before. The video features LEGO designers Justin Ramsden and Adam Corbally who talk about some of the features of the set. The Hulkbuster is available again on Shop@Home after being on backstock for a few days after its release a few weeks ago. Now is a good time to pick it up if you’ve been waiting on it because of the double VIP points promotion that’s currently going on.
