Earlier this year, we saw a Republic starfighter that hadn’t been seen in LEGO form for several years hit the market. Now it’s not groundhog day – but on August 1, we are getting another LEGO Star Wars Republic starfighter that hasn’t been seen on shelves since 2008! This time, it’s 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter; a craft that appeared early on in the Clone Wars animated series, but was seldom seen subsequently. With 567 pieces, it has an RRP of US $64.99 | CAN $84.99 | UK £59.99; you might see it on third-party retail sites like eBay or Amazon, too. Let’s see if it will receive a torrent of praise! We recently shared a round-up of LEGO castles by master mason Ben Hauger, but we turned around for a minute and not only did he make a few more castles, he changed the foundation. Yes, these two new castles have all the great features of his previous ones, but now, we get a modular base. If the forest setting isn’t to your liking, you get to change it now. The modular segments combine to make a beautifully irregular base for the main structure. Take a look at the different sections of the forest. I love the LEGO Botanical line, but I have a problem. I’ve only got two vases. Some Botanical sets try to solve that problem for me by including a pot or something, but then I have a second problem: I don’t have a ton of table or shelf space. What I do have is often overrun with MOCs of my own. Where can I put these gorgeous flowers without having to move into a bigger place? Flat surfaces and vases may be limited, but one thing most of us have a lot of: wall space. That makes sense, since there’s roughly four times as much wall in any room as there is floor! Next up on our reviews of the LEGO Jurassic World sets, we check out one of the more expensive sets, the Raptor & Titanosaurus Tracking Mission (76973). Coming in at $109.99, the set has only 582 pieces. The price is up 10% from the $99.99 that it was originally announced back in March.
