The set has 317 pieces and features a pair of the red knot decorations which symbolizes good fortune, wealth, and health in Chinese culture. Once you are finished building, you can also hang them up on the walls as well. There’s no word yet on the price requirements or when it will be available but I’m guessing it’ll be some time at the beginning of the year. Another LEGO 2025 rumor that was tied with the Star Trek USS Enterprise is that we could be seeing a remake of the Pirates of the Caribbean The Black Pearl. The set is reported to be part of the LEGO Icons line and is a remake of the Black Pearl from 2011. There’s not much information to go off of but if the rumor is true, we can expect the ship to be much larger than the original one as it was only 804 pieces. As always, don’t get your hopes up too much as these are purely rumors until concrete evidence shows up. Four years ago, we brought BrickNerd back to life with a mission to celebrate the creativity of the LEGO community, share the stories of both builders and builds, and provide a place to really get nerdy about the bricks. Every year since then, we’ve been amazed by the positive reception to all of our hard work and how much we’ve been able to accomplish together. As 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to share with you some of the numbers, notable articles, and New Year resolutions for 2025. Reflecting on 2024 Looking back, it’s incredible to see all that BrickNerd achieved in 2024. We published many excellent articles, hosted gatherings at dozens of events, collaborated with some truly exceptional people, and awarded many more of our “Nerd of Note” awards. We even helped make the internet a little more “AdoraBuild.” We’ve also continued trying to help increase representation and visibility...
