There’s only a few days left for the LEGO Alien Space Diner (40687) promotion and here’s a quick review of the set. It is available until May 26 with purchases of $100 on the LEGO Shop. Minifigures There are two astronaut minifigures, a white one and an orange one. The white torso with the Classic Space logo has been used in other sets but it is still rather new, however, the orange torso looks to be a new one. They do not have any air tanks which was one of the complaints I’ve seen about the minifigures. Build A majority of the build is the diner itself. It has a retro feel to it with the tile floors and the jukebox in the back. To the left of the jukebox is the red booth with a portion of the “wall”. At the top, there’s a small rocket flying above some stars....

Impression Sunrise – Monet by HunshuiMOYU is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 1,5000 piece build is a recreation of Monet’s painting which inspired the Impressionist movement. LEGO has just announced LEGO Smoothie Odyssey, a new intergalactic space experience expanding the series of LEGO Islands within Fortnite. The game mode is part of LEGO’s Space-themed year and you have to search for fruit-like Shock Berries and Butter Berries and then set up a smoothie bar to serve local aliens. LEGO Smoothie Odyssey joins LEGO Wing Walkers, LEGO Prop Hunt, and LEGO Obby Fun as some of the latest additions of LEGO Islands in Fortnite. More LEGO Islands will be revealed for Fortnite throughout 2024 and beyond so there’s a lot more content coming to the game in the future. The LEGO Wicked theme was announced earlier today and the splash page for the theme is also live on the LEGO Shop. Here you can see a very detailed page with microbuilds of things we could be seeing larger versions of in the four sets but towards the bottom, we can also see a silhouette of the Elphaba and Glinda minidolls. There have always been a fan divide between those who prefer getting sets with minifigures or sets with minidolls. We’ll just have to see what the sets look like before judgement should be made just because the sets have minidolls. Maybe the sets will wow everyone and fans will overlook the inclusion of them.
