- Project Description: Welcome to the Laurenville Fire Department. The fire department is operated by the Laurenville Fire District. Laurenville Fire District is the sole provider of fire, rescue, and EMS services for the 77 square mile Town of Laurenville, and its 32,000 residents. It is completely independent of town government. The fire district is overseen by a seven member operating committee who are elected by the residents of the district.
