We sure love our cryptids here in the Pacific Northwest. Why, Bigfoot has been enjoying our national parks without needing a Discovery Pass for like decades now. Speaking of elusive bipedal nature freeloaders, Iain Heath has had a new cryptid sighting of sorts over on his Instagram page. Actually, we all have. Meet Jimothy, he’s been breaking your algorithms and showing up on all your feeds for a week now. Always keen to jump on a viral moment, Iain was quick immortalize adorable little Jimothy in all his spherical glory in LEGO bricks. He’s somewhat of a local hero spotted in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard. (Get bent, California, he’s ours!) But is he Seattle’s newest cryptid, a raccoon with a bobbed tail and short spine syndrome or an elaborate hoax designed to sell more coffee? That’s for you to decide. Either way, he’s our adorable little secret.
