The new LEGO Wicked: For Good sets will be releasing on September 1 and we’re now starting our series of reviews of the sets starting with Glinda’s Wedding Day (75688). The set has 476 pieces and will retail for $39.99.
Minidolls
There are two minidolls in the set, Glinda and Madame Morrible. Glinda is in her white wedding dress that is static. There’s some metallic silver printing for the little glitter and butterflies. She does have two interchangeable heads, one for her somber look and the other for her shocked expression. Her hairpiece has a hole to attach the tiara on it.
Madame Morrible wears a dark green dress with some turquoise tail printing on it. Her face printing is pretty standard with not too much emotion. Her hair is the curly white one that looks almost identical to the movie. Her accessory is a printed wedding invitation heart with G+F.
Build
The build is very butterfly-centric with two large ones in the front. They’re attached to the Technic arms that swing open to reveal a whole wedding scene behind.
On the left side, there’s a large pink wedding cake with a tree behind it. The cake can be taken off the pedastal.
The right side also swings open and there’s two sticker tiles. I’m not sure what they represent.
